If you need a refresher on just what ARC Raiders is be sure to hit the jump and re-watch the announcement trailer from 2021. It's the first game from Embark Studios, a team made up of ex-DICE talent that worked on the Battlefield series. A co-op free-to-play action shooter set in a stunning sci-fi universe.

As per the announcement below, the game is now slated for a 2023 release so the team can "expand the experience". Which is very cool to hear, as the delay isn't just about polish - it sounds like the game is going to be bigger than expected.

And some hands-on time is on the cards too, very cool. Yeah, we're excited to see more on this one purely based on the cool announcement trailer.

ARC Raiders is a cooperative third-person shooter where you and your squad of Raiders unite to resist the onslaught of ARC – a ruthless, mechanized threat descending from space.

You play as one of the Raiders, a rogue group of resistance fighters. With the help of a patchwork early warning system, you fight to protect our home against enemies dropping from orbit.

ARC Raiders is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
