LucasArts and Monkey Island veteran Dave Grossman posted a short clip from Return to Monkey Island, one showcasing Guybrush Threewood walking past the Scumm Bar on Melee Island. Something that will no doubt be of high interest to fans. And with the backlash surrounding the new art style it's a great look at how the new game will, well, look.

As a fan, to me, this looks wonderful. The animation is fast, smooth, and the stylised art looks inviting and modern. There's just something about its night-time Melee Island that looks inviting.

As a short 10-second clip it doesn't really show a lot of the game, but it's a small slice of animation that serves as a timely reminder that we are indeed getting a brand new Monkey Island point-and-click adventure game this year.
