Back to its old marketing tricks with its biggest franchise, Activision has gone all out on marketing even just the worldwide reveal of its upcoming 2022 entry in Call of Duty, which this year is more of a re-entry given it will be a reimagining of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from OG studio, Infinity Ward.

What's interesting about this announcement (of a reveal), is that "The Ultimate Weapon is Team" seems to be the catch-cry the studio and publisher is going with, which could point towards a co-op-focused campaign, which would be something new in the series (if it were fully fleshed out and for the entire campaign). And definitely a welcome addition overall.

With all of that in place, there will be a worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on June 9, so stay tuned.
