A new PlayStation State of Play stream is scheduled to take place next week, a 30 minute stream that will focus on third-part reveals in addition to "a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2". As we're at traditionally big E3 showcase/reveal time of year, this sounds like it just might be Sony's big presentation for the season.

So on that note, fingers crossed we get a surprise God of War: Ragnarok release date for 2022.

The stream is set to kick off on Friday, June 3 at 8:00am AEST.

No doubt the interesting thing here is that it's set to feature "several games" for PlayStation VR2 - hinting at a potential Holiday 2022 for next-gen PlayStation VR. As per a recent presentation we know that Sony is planning to launch PSVR 2 with over 20 games that take advantage of the truly impressive sounding tech coming.
