Gearbox has teased a new game in the Tales from the Borderlands series, the narrative adventure game offshoot originally developed by Telltale Games (The Walking Dead, Batman: The Telltale Series). As per our review of the first episode back in 2014 it was a fun, funny, and engaging tale. And there's more coming in 2022.

No details are known outside of the return, with Gearbox taking to Twitter to state, "An all new Tales from the Borderlands adventure is coming in 2022 from Gearbox and 2K". Details are coming mid-year, most likely as part of Summer Game Fest.

With the recent release of the excellent Tiny Tina's Wonderlands spin-off it's a great time to be a Borderlands fan. And if these new Tales from the Borderlands hit the same high as the first batch of episodes, that trend will continue in 2022.
