Fans of fast-paced OG Doom-style shooters -- the ones with sprite baddies, pixelated chunks of blood and a frame-rate to die for, will be wanting to jump into the Early Access release of Project Warlock II this June, especially if this new "Meet the Demons" trailer has anything to say about it.
Coming to both Steam and GOG, the Early Access release of the promising FPS will serve up the game's first chapter (of three) in its single-player campaign.
The developer revealed that each chapter of Project Warlock II will consist of 6 huge, sprawling levels up to 10 times bigger than any individual level in the original game. The game’s world evolved into vertical, three-dimensional, multi-floored structures, platforms, and buildings that literally elevate the gameplay.
Developer Buckshot Software has suggested the EA version of the game could live in that state for at least a year as the team refines and takes on player feedback leading into a 2023 release.
A demo for Project Warlock II is also already available via both links above.
