Godfall: Ultimate Edition sees the previously timed-exclusive PS4, PS5, and Epic Games Store action-RPG release from Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Games make its way to Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on April 7. With 'Ultimate Edition' in the title it brings the core experience across plus all updates and DLC and expansion content.

On the Xbox front it will support both Variable Refresh Rate and Dolby Vision on capable displays.

Godfall: Ultimate Edition includes the core Godfall experience, the game-changing Primal, Lightbringer, and Exalted updates, Fire & Darkness expansion, and the previously exclusive Ascended Edition and pre-order bonuses.

This new version arrives alongside the free Exalted Update arriving on April 7 on other platforms which improves combat for speed and flow, makes inventory management easier, enhances the story, and more.

We reviewed the PlayStation 5 version of the game back in 2020, noting that it fell short of its potential -- so it'll be interesting to see all of the changes in action.
