EA Play Live has been EA's E3 showcase (but not an official part of E3) for a number of years now, and the go-to place to see reveals and looks at games coming from the publisher. Traditionally taking place in June, today we've got word that EA Play Live 2022 won't be happening.

That said, EA is shifting its plans to reveal games throughout the year - when they're ready. In a statement made to IGN, a representative wrote.
We love EA Play Live as it's our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you. However, this year things aren't lining up to show you everything on one date. We have exciting things happening at our world-class studios and this year we’ll reveal much more about these projects when the time is right for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!

Which confirms that we'll be getting announcements and reveals and possibly streams for upcoming games throughout the year. With the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order probably being one.
