Okay, so maybe there weren't any indications that Dying Light 2 was going to be delayed beyond its current February 4, 2022 release date. But with the news that the game has "gone gold", it's good to know that it's in the final stages of polish.

As per this tweet from developer Techland, the studio "will spend additional time making sure that we deliver the best possible experience".
