That will allow players to check out a slice of Company of Heroes 3's multiplayer suite ahead of its planned 2022 debut. It will feature four maps set in Italy to highlight the game's Mediterranean setting, alongside two playable factions in the form of US forces and The Wehrmacht.

As per below this new Alpha test isn't limited to PVP and will feature co-op versus AI in addition to Skirmish versus AI. In this mode players will be able to test out the new Full Tactical Pause feature that effectively pauses the game in a turn-based manner.

The Multiplayer Pre-Alpha will allow players to jump online and get a first glimpse at some exciting new multiplayer combat. They can experience four Italian maps in a variety of game modes, including co-op vs AI opponents, competitive PvP and Skirmish vs AI, while trying out familiar and brand-new features like Full Tactical Pause in skirmish mode, vehicle side armour, Verticality, Battlegroups, and Veterancy. Two classic factions return, the US forces and The Wehrmacht, each bringing their unique and game-changing abilities to the battlefield. More factions will be revealed in the run up to launch, with Company of Heroes 3 promising more content than ever before.

The Company of Heroes 3 Multiplayer Pre-Alpha is available for pre-load on Steam, and you can sign-up for access over at CompanyOfHeroes.com. It'll be playable from tomorrow, where the Alpha Test will last a week.
