GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet (a local Perth-based ISP) is set to launch in Australia on October 19. What's GeForce NOW? It's one of the first and most successful cloud gaming solutions, created by NVIDIA. It brings high-end RTX powered gaming to any number of devices. That means RTX 3080 style real-time ray-traced goodness without the need for a very expensive PC rig.
Users have access to their own library of PC games too, with over 1,000 titles across Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, and GOG.COM supported. Which includes most if not all of the current top free-to-play games out there.
With GeForce NOW wrapping up its Aussie Beta period, which saw over 3 million minutes played on across 100,000 plus cloud gaming sessions, the October 19 launch will arrive with ‘Basic’ and ‘Priority’ plans. The former being more of a trial with gameplay time limited to an hour without RTX features.
'Priority' unlocks full RTX gaming with extended sessions -- with Priority members pushed to the front of the queue. Subscriptions are set to go live this evening via the
official GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet site. Founders Priority pricing sees a monthly launch price of $19.99 AUD with a discounted rate of $17.99 AUD for 12-months. Founders Priority pricing will remain unchanged for all active subscribers.
