Dead Cells is a modern classic, a Metroidvania that upped the difficulty and challenge alongside smooth action where you got to create and try out different builds. Sébastien Benard, lead developer and game designer on Dead Cells, is back with a new 2D action-adventure called Nuclear Blaze -- and it's all about fighting fire.
With water, because you're a firefighter.
As a trained firefighter, after being air-dropped right into a hell blaze of an unknown origin, it's your job to investigate a mysterious military facility and hunt for survivors. Although, something tells us that you might not be quite so welcome here.
With only your wits, reflexes, and trusty fire hose, it’s up to you to try to clear all fires in each sector. But that won't be an easy task: wildfire will spread uncontrollably all around you, and every door you open could lead to yet another unstoppable inferno.
Interestingly Nuclear Blaze is set to feature a "Kid mode" that aims to make the setup and action palatable for those aged 3 and up. Nuclear Blaze launches on Steam, October 18.
