Valve's Steam Deck is a portable PC by the way of a Nintendo Switch and is set to make its debut later this year in the U.S. Of course pre-orders for a handheld Steam machine were through the roof, and it's not hard to understand why. Case in point the teams over at CD Projekt Red have gotten their hands on one and have posted some smooth footage of The Witcher 3 running on a Steam Deck.

As it's hands-off it might be a little hard to see the full extend of the visual settings employed but it's definitely looking better than the Nintendo Switch port of the game. Which was a technical feat in its own right.

Although The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now a few years old CD Projekt Red is also putting the final touches on a next-gen version of the game set to debut this year.
