Dying Light 2 Stay Human the highly anticipated release and follow up from Techland is now due for release February 4, 2022. "The team is steadily progressing with the production and the game is nearing the finish line," writes Techland CEO Paweł Marchewka. "The game is complete" he adds, citing "more time to polish and optimise" as reasons for the delay.

And with that one of the big alte-2021 releases has been pushed back to early 2022 - with Dying Light 2 original on track for a December 7 release.

Naturally this is a blow for fans that were planning around the December release window, but more time to polish and optimise is never a bad thing. Especially when the results already look amazing -- as per this recent 'Monsters' gameplay video and this additional NVIDIA DLSS and RTX trailer.
