"The greatest game of the '80s" is how the trailer for the new live action Frogger game show begins, a new for-reals slice of physical Wipeout-style game showiness from NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming platform. And it's, well, what you'd expect to find in a dystopian American-ised future full of licensed carefully manipulated entertainment whilst the masses hustle for rations on the streets of Future Town. Or, you know - some cheesy fun.

As per the naming and presentation it's based on the 1981 arcade game where you take on the role of a frog and have to cross a busy street and lake to reach a lily-pad.
