The standard Xbox Wireless Controller got an incremental update for the Xbox Series X|S generation, adding a handy share button, better ergonomics, and textured grips as standard. The new Aqua Shift Special Edition controller not only features a very cool shimmering blue finish, but it introduces proper rubberised grips. Which will make it as comfortable to hold as it is calming to look at.

Perfect for chilling on the high seas in Sea of Thieves, or taking to the air in Microsoft Flight Simulator.


Rubberised grips were found on a couple of special edition controller during the Xbox One era - namely the Lunar White. A controller I basically used for everything on the account of the better grips. With the Xbox Wireless Controller – Aqua Shift Special Edition launching September 14, it also arrives at the standard price of $99.95 AUD too, which is cool.
