For those with memories of the EGA era of PC gaming there's no doubt you recall the name Sierra -- a developer and studio that pioneered the point-and-click adventure with King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, and many more Quests. Founded by husband and wife duo Ken and Roberta Williams, over the weekend we got word that the industry icons are working on a new game.
The news broke on YouTube with all-things Sierra fan 'Space Quest Historian' getting the scoop from Ken Williams who notes that he has been working on the game for the past six months, with Roberta being consulted daily on the project.
As to what sort of game it will be, we're told that a reveal will be coming in the next month or so -- answering the question of whether or not it will be a point-and-click adventure in the style of the studio's classics. Interestingly Ken served more as the head of Sierra with Roberta being the creative lead on games like King's Quest, so this might just be his first project with him handling design. Very cool.
