Endwalker is the fourth major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV Online, and with its release date now set for November 23 -- we've got a bunch of new details. Plus, a lengthy new cinematic trailer and some great news for local players -- Oceanic servers are on the way!
Though the planned deployment is expected to be after the debut of Endwalker. Still, great to see that Square Enix have been listening to the passionate local community surrounding Final Fantasy XIV.
Both that little nugget and all the juicy Endwalker info arrived as a part of the FFXIV Digital Fan Festival 2021 where Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida was on hand to talk about all things Endwalker.
Endwalker features the climax of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story, in which Warriors of Light will encounter an even greater calamity than ever before as they travel to the far reaches of Hydaelyn and even to the moon. In addition to bringing the long-running story arc that began with A Realm Reborn to its conclusion, Endwalker will mark a new beginning for the beloved MMO, setting the stage for new adventures that longtime fans and new players can enjoy together.

One of the cooler new things coming is the introduction of a new job/class the 'Reaper' -- where it's all about scythe wielding and summoning shrouded figures and other ghastly smoke figures. As a melee DPS job, you can see the Reaper in action in the following clip.
Also coming is a new playable race - Male Viera. For those that can't get enough fuzzy ear action. Plus all the expansion stuff from a new cities and towns to explore (Old Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han) to new regions like this one set on the moon called 'Mare Lamentorum'.
