There's a bit of an industry given at the moment, considering the respective release windows of both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S|X, which alludes to last-gen, cross-window release games being given the "new-gen makeover". And like that season of Queer Eye, this makeover takes us to Japan with the 're'-release of Judgment from SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

So why is this makeover a "big reveal" tear-jerker? Well, Judgment just so happens to be pretty well received across the board, and scored okay with us due largely to its quirky (read: Japanese normal - natch) setup and overall nature:
A group of perverts that go by the name of the Twisted Trio. Evading police capture for who knows how long one of their victims approaches private detective Takayuki Yagami to solve the disappearance of some personal items. Her panties. Which, after an awkward interview with the young woman, Yagami confirms were lacey. Also, they’re being stolen via drone whilst hanging out to dry.
It also just really looks very good on the new platforms, and while we wait (and wait) for content designed specifically for those platforms, re-releases like this aren't entirely a bad thing.
