Showcasing what moving this videogame staple into the now will look like with grunt, modernity and a bit of showing off, for good measure, today's "Intergrade" video is a visual highlight of FFVII's next home.

Intergrade will come with an all-new episode featuring Yuffie, extending play of the base game while also helping to highlight the game's new visuals options, which include both a "graphics mode" and a "performance mode". Here's the official line on the new content, video and full release:
In this extended video, take a look at the city of Midgar like never before, with improved textures, lighting and background environments. Switch between two game modes "Graphics Mode," which prioritizes 4K high-resolution graphics, and "Performance Mode," which prioritizes smooth action at 60 frames per second, and capture and share your favorite moments of this timeless adventure with a fully customisable “Photo Mode.” Enjoy immersive battles by using the DualSense wireless controller, with its haptic feedback integration.

In the brand-new episode featuring Yuffie, play as ninja Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates the shadowy Shinra corporation to steal a powerful material and restore glory to her homeland. Play alongside new characters and enjoy an expanded gameplay experience featuring multiple new combat and gameplay additions. This adventure brings new perspective to the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE story that cannot be missed.

GAME TRIVIA - Did You Know?

Localisation of the original Final Fantasy VII was done by a very small team, with just the one translator, Michael Basket. The small team and a lack of experience in localisation, coupled with a massive original Japanese script meant many errors made it into the Western version of the game, some of which now are beloved "lost in translation" moments embraced by the core community.
