With Bluemouth partnering with peripheral company 8BitDo to bring its range of retro-themed controllers to Australia and New Zealand -- including retail stores like JB Hi-Fi and EB Games. And to celebrate the announcement the new 8BitDo Pro 2 designed for Switch, PC, macOs, and Android (that also has the look of a classic DualShock) will be available May 6.

At $89.95 AUD (or $99.95 NZD).

As per above it's a wireless deal (Bluetooth) that supports up to 20-hours of use on a single charge alongside customisation options for button mapping, sensitivity, and vibration.

“We’re excited to be bringing 8BitDo’s incredible range to Australia and New Zealand. 8BitDo is revered internationally for providing the highest-quality retro controllers available,” said Bluemouth Co-Founder and Managing Director David Provan. “It’s great to be able to announce the launch of the SN30 Pro 2 which beautifully coincides with 8BitDo’s wider range launching in Australia and New Zealand in the coming months.”

This is pretty cool news as 8BitDo has been a go-to for many when it comes to playing console-style titles on PC. Or, arcade classics -- thanks to the 8BitDo SN Arcade Stick. The company has a wide range of controllers available in multiple colours that replicate the look and feel of classic consoles like the PlayStation, Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, NES, and more.

Head here to check out the full range ahead of its local debut.
