Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the space emperor-set follow-up to developer Fatshark's excellent Vermintide series. As per our review of Warhammer: Vermintide II the blend of melee and ranged combat mixed with Left 4 Dead style unpredictability has made something of a cult hit.

And as this gameplay trailer for Darktide shows, going 40K means trading in axes and bows for power-swords and rifles.

Like Vermintide this supports four-player co-op with action taking place in the hive city of Tertium. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is in development for PC and Xbox, where it will also come to Xbox Game Pass in addition to being a console exclusive for the Xbox Series X and S.
