The next game in the Dragon Age series is currently in development at BioWare, and as part of The Game Awards we got a new teaser trailer that showcases its world. "Demons, Dragons, Dark Spawn", "This is your story", it's all very much Dragon Age - including more confirmation that the Dread Wolf aka Solas is returning.

Check it out.

The world of Dragon Age needs a new hero – someone who can take on the evil forces threatening Thedas. Get a first look at some of the new locations you’ll discover and the factions fighting by your side in the next chapter of Dragon Age.

And sure, this is another teaser for the game but with it now being a couple of years since its original Game Awards announcement - we'll probably get to see some gameplay next year. In terms of look though Thedas in this teaser looks awesome, and it even hints at a free-form character creation process and back-story or origin as per the first game. From a Thief to a Hunter to a Mage, Dragon Age 4 sounds like its going back to RPG basics -- and that's a good thing.
