For Australian players, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands goes live tomorrow morning (10am AEST for Sydney/Melbourne), where the long-awaited new expansion will see them travel to the afterlife. And to celebrate the launch Blizzard has partnered with some prominent lo-fi hip hop producers to take the Shadowlands soundtrack and give it a dose of chill.
The lo-fi beats phenomenon has seen the rise in popularity of permanent YouTube streams sending out chill vibes into the airways, usually accompanied by some anime-inspired art of someone studying in their bedroom. Which, in a very cool move, is what we get here. With the following tracks giving the actual Shadowlands soundtrack the lo-fi treatment.
