With the very cool bit of art given the image filename of "mud skipper" hinting at a new planetary exploration vehicle coming with the next game in
BioWare's
Mass Effect series. A new spaceship of sorts that can land on planetary bodies and potentially be used to fly around over planetary bodies.
As part of the
Mass Effect Legendary Edition announcement, which will present the original trilogy in remastered form, BioWare studio head Casey Hudson confirmed that the next game in the series is underway. But, early on in the development cycle.
"At BioWare, a veteran team has been hard at work envisioning the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe," Casey Hudson writes. "We are in early stages on the project and can’t say any more just yet, but we’re looking forward to sharing our vision for where we’ll be going next."
As per above another takeaway is the use of "veteran team" - hinting that the next Mass Effect will feature members who worked alongside Casey during the development of the original trilogy. Also, it's a small detail but with four visible figures - with one of the silhouettes looking like a Salarian - odds are the close-knit squad aspect of the series will be focal point here too.
