Halo: Master Chief Collection not only features the first four games, but also Halo: Reach and ODST - all remastered and available in a single (massive) package. Over the past year we've seen the collection arrive on PC with impressive features, and now Microsoft is confirming that the entire collection (already playable via Xbox Game Pass) will be enhanced for next-gen consoles - the Xbox Series X and S.

And available on November 17. As per Aaron Greenberg's Tweet below, the collection will support 120fps across both the campaign and multiplayer, with full cross-gen play, FOV support, and "up to 4K" resolution on the Series X. It remains to be seen if hitting 120fps means dropping down the resolution, that said we should probably expect 4K 60fps performance across each title on the Series X.

The update will be free to all existing players and Game Pass subscribers.
