With the Oculus Quest 2 announcement bringing with it the best case to date for mainstream and impressive VR -- that feels next-gen in its best of both worlds approach (wireless all-in-one and connected to a PC) -- there's also a tonne of games coming to the Oculus platform. Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, more Star Wars from ILM.

Plus Myst, Medal of Honor, and even some Warhammer 40K action. Yeah it's quite the line-up. Although we don't have trailers or full details for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell VR efforts, here's all the visual goodness and official details on the standout game announcements from overnight.

One bit of general VR good news is that the Oculus and Respawn collaboration Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is also coming to Steam VR. Very cool.

Jurassic World Aftermath

Set two years after the fall of Jurassic World, the suspenseful Jurassic World Aftermath sends you back to Isla Nublar in search of confidential research materials lost in the evacuation. The problem? A crash landing has left you stranded in the rundown ruins of a now-abandoned research facility—and deadly Velociraptors stalk your every move. Coming soon.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond

A partnership between Oculus Studios and Respawn Entertainment, creators of the acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Titanfall, and Apex Legends. And the wait is finally (almost) over. You’ll be able to storm the beaches of Normandy, aid the French Resistance, and liberate Europe starting December 11 on both the Rift Platform and on Quest via Oculus Link (compatible PC also required). Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will launch simultaneously on the Oculus Store and on Steam with full SteamVR and cross-play support.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy's Edge

Players will explore the wilds of Batuu and the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost, the famed setting of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the epic new land at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Featuring fan favorite characters like C-3PO, R2-D2, Jedi Master Yoda, and brand new characters like the chatty bartender Seezelslak, Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will launch you into a spirited Star Wars adventure that evolves and expands even after its launch this holiday season.

Population: One

With POPULATION: ONE, BigBox VR created a battle royale that is only possible in VR. Its unique Vertical Combat System gives players the freedom to climb anything, fly anywhere, and fight everywhere. It’s chaotic, it’s exhilarating, and delivers limitless combat possibilities. After launch, the action never stops with ongoing live in-game events and fresh content to explore. Coming Soon.

Myst

It’s been nearly three decades since players first heard those words and stepped into the world of Myst. Now old fans and newcomers alike will get to explore its iconic Ages like never before, as Cyan gears up to release Myst on the Quest Platform. Built from the ground up for VR, this reimagined version of the classic puzzle game features updated art and interactions—and even an optional puzzle randomizer, for those who long ago memorized the island’s secrets and are looking for a fresh take on their Myst experience from 1993. Coming Holiday 2020.

The Climb 2

Building on the success of the 2016 original, Crytek’s latest celebration of rock climbing is better-looking than ever. Featuring 15 new maps, you’ll scale snow-covered peaks, desert buttes, and even skyscrapers, one impossibly small handhold at a time. Compare your times to others on The Climb 2’s leaderboards, participate in global events, and more. Just don’t look down. Coming Soon.

Warhammer 40,000 Battle Sister

Don unstoppable power armor, embrace devastating weapons and wargear, and get ready to battle for the fate of humanity in Warhammer 40,000 Battle Sister, releasing this holiday season. Players will step into the boots of Sister Ophelia as she takes on the hundreds of enemies standing between her and her lost twin sister in this immersive, action-packed shooter from Pixel Toys. Coming Holiday 2020.

Pistol Whip 2089

In 2089, a plague of killer androids has overrun an offworld colony, leaving only one hero with the mettle needed to shut it all down. Coming this holiday season, Pistol Whip 2089 expands Cloudhead’s acclaimed rhythm-shooter with a gritty sci-fi action campaign, featuring new weapons, a new robotic threat, and a new synthwave-inspired soundtrack. Prepare for the orbital assault and become the ultimate action hero. Coming Holiday 2020.

Sniper Elite VR

Set in World War II-era Italy, you’re tasked with liberating your homeland one well-placed bullet at a time. Take a deep breath, steady your aim, and hope nobody is within earshot as you explore intricately crafted levels full of tactical possibilities. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Sniper Elite game without the X-ray kill camera. Don’t worry, that’s been redesigned for VR as well. Coming Soon.
