Which is how we imagine the real cyberspace would look, that is if we could jack-in and surf those bit-streams. With development on the System Shock remake still underway at Nightdive Studios, and all footage still labelled "Alpha", this new look and re-imagined Cyberspace has got serious Descent and Rez vibes.

Albeit with more menacing industrial techno compared to Rez's trance-like grooves. Check it out.

This whole section being one of those elements from the original that feels a little dated, it's good to see Nightdive looking at things like Descent and ramping up the bright lights and wire-frame presentation to make it stand out.

Although we still don't have a release date, Nightdive also posted a video called "The Art of Gore" which covers the new enemy dismemberment system -- now with limbs that can be blown off. We're not complaining mind, we'll happily wait for what is shaping up to be a pretty impressive remake.
