Prepare for the graphics term onslaught in 3, 2, 1. 8K textures, HDR, temporal anti-aliasing, Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO), Global Illumination (SVOGI), state-of-the-art depth fields, parallax occlusion mapping, Screen Space Reflections and Shadows (SSR & SSS), and more! Plus on PC Crysis Remastered will support NVIDIA's DLSS technology and hardware-based ray tracing for reflections.

That interestingly, will use NVIDIA’s VKRay Vulkan extension as opposed to DX12 -- powered by CRYENGINE.

Thus ends the graphical term onslaught... which you can see the results of in the new tech trailer below.

In Crysis, what begins as a simple rescue mission becomes the battleground of a new war as alien invaders swarm over a North Korean island chain. Armed with a powerful Nanosuit, players can become invisible to stalk enemy patrols, or boost strength to lay waste to vehicles. The Nanosuit’s speed, strength, armor, and cloaking allow creative solutions for every kind of fight, while a huge arsenal of modular weaponry provides unprecedented control over play style. In the ever-changing environment, adapt tactics and gear to dominate your enemies, in an enormous sandbox world.

Developed in partnership with Saber Interactive, Crytek's long-awaited Crysis Remastered is out September 18 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The updated visuals certainly look impressive, and worthy of the questions "Can it run Crysis?"
