Set in criminal underworld of Japan, Yakuza Empire is all about expanding your gang's reach and engaging in turn-based combat in what's described as "a strategy/management game about Japan's most feared gang". Based on the first trailer, it looks impressive - with a stylish side-on perspective that gives the base-building aspect the look of a twisted neon-noir version of Sim Tower.

Check it out.

As a strategy/management game, Yakuza Empire offers you the opportunity of virtually experiencing what it's like to dedicate your life, often quite literally, to its cause.

Your revered predecessor was brutally murdered – it's time to restore his honor and spill blood in the name of revenge.

Based on the description (the Steam Page for the game is live) the three main focuses for Yakuza Empire look to be the training and development of your crew/gang, expanding your headquarters, and spending those bucks on fancy suits and the finer things. Which, sounds like an awesome setting for a game.

No doubt the trailer makes this look like one to keep and eye on too, but taking a look at developer RockGame S.A's other titles (all currently in-development) like Cowboy Life Simulator and Ninja Simulator we hope this is more than just a cool idea.
