With the co-founder of Valve holding out in New Zealand for months now (he's been there since the lockdown started), Gabe Newell went on The Project NZ to talk about, err, stuff. Like the upcoming concert event he's putting on to thanks the country for taking the pandemic seriously, brain computing and how The Matrix is our future, and which of the two next-gen consoles he would pick.

PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X - which one is better. Spoiler alert, according to Gabe it's the Xbox Series X.

As for why, ol' Gabe didn't give a reason as why the Series X was the better choice. But with Gabe being an ex-Microsoft employee and Valve closely situated to Xbox HQ it probably comes down to personal preference. Or, he's a big Halo fan.

Anyway, it's a shame they didn't ask him the all important question - where's Half-Life 3?
