With developer Asobo noting that the built-in Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace will allow creators and partners to sign-up for free, set their own prices, and still have full control of their creations. For those up in the sky, access will be available in-game and open the door (as long as they have their parachute on) to "all types of content that will enhance the simulation experience".

And with this as the base to work from - this has all the ingredients for a thriving community and marketplace to exist for years. Without a doubt Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the most impressive looking bits of software currently in development.

Potential partners and content creators are being invited to sign-up to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace Partner Program now, with all relevant info and links found here.
For the first time, Microsoft Flight Simulator will include a built-in Marketplace which enables approved partners to sell their content directly to simmers.

The 3rd party creator community has been incredibly vibrant, delighting simmers with their creativity for many years. We recognize that creations by 3rd parties are a vital ingredient to broaden and deepen the Flight Simulation experience so we are excited to announce our Marketplace Partner Program which enables approved partners to sell content within our built-in Marketplace.

We are looking for partners with all types of content that will enhance the simulation experience.

The announcement was made as part of the latest development update that also reminds Alpha players that they now have access to the Closed Beta build which is set to go live on July 23.
