No real gameplay was shown and there's not much to go on, but the racing franchise that began in the late 1980s is set to return with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown from publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing.

The French studio behind many a racing game, including this year's WRC 9, TT Isle of Man 2, and an entry in the V-Rally series. The following teaser trailer doesn't show much other than confirm that the latest Test Drive will feature luxury cars, and that it's weirdly rated 18+.


Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is an open world driving and lifestyle experience. Grab your keys and live your life of luxury. Remember, social status is everything In the world of TDU.

The description hints at an open-world approach and the title itself positions it as the next installment in the Unlimited series. And maybe 'Solar Down' means a focus on night races?
