Serving as a reminder that old-timey and incredible animation seen in Studio MDHR's Cuphead is still one the most impressive animation milestones from this generation -- and that Netflix are still working on The Cuphead Show.

The animation quality doesn't skip a beat -- even when the camera gets all close on Cuphead and Mugman. And based on what we see the story will focus on their relationship and adventures. Perhaps the only area of concern is that some of what we see looks a little too crisp and digital, so here's hoping that the final version retains the saw analog and, well, old-timey feel of the game.

No word on when The Cuphead Show will make its debut, but we're definitely keen for this. For more on Cuphead, be sure to check out our review of the game from 2017. Ahh, 2017 - we remember it well, twas a lifetime ago.
