Although we haven't got any sort of official confirmation from Blizzard or NVIDIA, the latest Alpha build of World of Warcraft's latest expansion Shadowlands has an interesting visual setting. Ray Traced Shadows - with the ability to crank them up for all directional and local light sources in the game.

Apparently the option is currently disabled as the game is still in Alpha, and there's no word yet if ray-tracing support will apply to other effects like reflections or global illumination. As seen in Minecraft with RTX - the results are stunning.

And we mention Mionecraft because World of Warcraft or WoW has been around for over 15-years, where even though the graphics and engine has seen several updates - it doesn't take an advanced rig to get the game up and running. Anyway, World of Warcraft with RTX - looks like its happening. Very cool.
