The gaming PC has come a long way in the past couple of decades, what was once a beige collection of wires and circuits is now a light-filled showcase of liquid cooling and high-end branding. And when it comes to custom builds - well that's become an art-form worthy of gallery exhibitions. And now CD Projekt RED is holding a #CyberUpYourPC contest offering people the chance to design their own Cyberpunk 2077 PC case mod.

No construction required either, with the winners set to be teamed up with professional case modders to make their designs a reality. Sounds like an idea good enough for a reality TV series. In terms of what the studio is looking for in the designs there are some guidelines.
<1> At least one part of the design has to be/include recycled material (for example, an old circuit board as decoration)

<2> The design has to follow one of our style guidelines, feature a megacorporation logo, or a gang logo from Cyberpunk 2077

<3> In Night City, the rich and the poor live right next to each other; make this contrast visible in your design.

No doubt this will lead to some truly epic case mods - here's hoping that each PC ends up with one of those juicy limited Cyberpunk NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti inside. The winner is set to get a prize-pack including hardware from Alienware, NVIDIA, and SteelSeries.
