With the question now being, is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare set to receive its own Blackout Battle Royale mode in the near future. As part of an in-game cinematic for Season 2 which has just gone live - the final few seconds of the trailer zoom out to showcase a huge map, soldiers dropping out of planes, and a hazy mist on the horizon that looks like a circle.

Elements that all point to Battle Royale coming.

There have been rumours that the mode has been in development for sometime with planned post-launch debut, with word being that the large map could support up to 200-players. Further adding fuel to the rumour is a new video on Reddit where a user somehow got into the map and captures a birds-eye view of its scale.
