The excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake from last year set a new bar for the very idea of what a remake could be - and on PC mod support has led to a number of strange, fun, and even weird crossovers. Case in point this new mod that replaces protagonist Leon with Geralt of Riva - of The Witcher fame.

Where now the iconic monster slayer looks like he stepped through a weird portal transporting him to Raccoon City.


In addition to it being pretty cool to see Geralt in a Resident Evil game, there's not a lot out there that can prepare you for seeing the silver-haired one aiming down the barrel of a pistol.


Or holding a grenade launcher.


But, balance is restored with this image of Geralt stabbing a zombie.


Talk about a Wild Hunt! Ahem... sorry.
