Highlighting the work carried out on the single-player story-driven off-shoot to Star Citizen over the course of 2019. Squadron 42 is positioning itself as the spiritual successor to Wing Commander and has been in development since at least 2012, featuring a star-studded cast including Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, Gillian Anderson, and more.

This new "visual teaser reel highlighting just some of the work the team has done" is light on individual characters, but certainly impresses with sci-fi locales and mood.



Having waited almost a decade for this to be released, the good news is that Squadron 42 is targeting late 2020 for the Beta - which is when the campaign is expected to be fully playable from start to finish. At least, that's the plan.
