From out of memory crashes to other reasons for crashing to fixing a few visual bugs relating to lighting and fur. The latest 1.14 patch for
Red Dead Redemption 2 (notes after the jump) arrives alongside the official
Steam page for the game - as many out there mount up for the release later this week.
Here are the patch notes, which address more of the technical issues players have been experiencing with the game on PC. And yeah, they all seem to be around fixing crashes.

Stephen has been playing the game on his beastly Alienware rig and hasn't experienced any major issues relating to crashes. His review will be going up shortly. Playing on my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti though, my big problem was getting the game to launch when it first arrived on PC. And since then have only experienced one crash and a few instances of stuttering, mainly in cinematic sequences. Outside of that though it's a stunningly beautiful game - especially when played in ultrawide (via the
Benq EX3501R).
