The Emperor of the Dominion and all-round piece of work, Arcturus Mengsk is the latest Commander to join the StarCraft II co-op line-up. For those that played either the original or the trilogy-sized sequel you'll know the name well - Mengsk is one of those villains that you simply can't help but dislike intensely. And now, he's totally playable.

Where as Mengsk you can command and army of willing Dominion soldiers, Elite Royal Guard, and even pick up Siege Tanks to have them fire on air target. Yeah.

With Elite units and cannon fodder, fallen troops will drop their weapons with other soldiers getting the ability to pick them up and then keep charging into the fight. As Mengsk you have a resource called Imperial Mandate that allows you to trigger a number of controversial abilities - including mutually assured destruction via Nuclear Annihilation.

For more info on his abilities and units - head here. The latest co-op commander is expected to arrive later this month.
