After recent lay-offs
, financial woes, and even run ins with the law, troubled publisher and studio Starbreeze
is confident that its cash-flow problems are on the mend - based on publishing agreements and a planned Payday 3
release in 2022-2023. The studio posted a graph for the next four years of cash-flow with an almost comical exponential rise.
As seen here.
The publishing agreements look to be around Payday 3 and Payday: Crime War (which is the mobile version of the popular co-op title), with financing from publishing partners expected to begin coming into Starbreeze next year. Again, this follows recent troubles at Starbreeze - where now it seems the entire company has been restructured with a focus on the Payday franchise. It notes, "What the company reports in this press release is not a forecast, but merely a cash flow estimate to enable creditors to form an opinion about the future repayment ability of Starbreeze."
