Developed by Cyanide (Call of Cthulhu) and published by BigBen (The Sinking City), Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is a mouthful to say, in much the same way the game's main character, Cahal -- a werewolf, has a mouthful of teeth.
PDXCON takes place October 18, 19 and 20 in Berlin where the game will be unveiled via a new trailer followed by a live keynote on stage by game director Julien Desourteaux, which can be viewed right here. (We'll be sure to cover the news from the event, should you miss it). Here's more info on the game:
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is the first action-RPG game adaptation of the iconic role-playing game. Become Cahal, a banished werewolf, forced to return to aid of his endangered Tribe and master the devastating Rage within him to punish all those that would pollute, destroy, and corrupt our Mother Earth, Gaïa. On his bloody quest for redemption, Cahal will play a pivotal role in the Great War of the Garou against Pentex, a powerful corporation whose activities are upsetting the balance of nature.
The game sounds like it has a lot of potential, but given the last few games out of the companies involved, we're a bit sceptical. But we're definitely in love with the premise.
If you're so inclined a teaser for the trailer reveal can be watched embedded below, otherwise stay tuned for our full coverage next weekend.
