With the turn-based tactics game now scheduled for December after being pushed back from September 3, 2019. As per a new developer update from Snapshot Games, "We know this is not our first delay, and we are very sorry to the fans who we know are highly anticipating getting their hands on Phoenix Point." Phoenix Point sees XCOM creator Julian Gollop return to the genre he helped forge, with the title successfully crowdfunded in 2017 to the tune of $765,948 USD.
