With Hunt: Showdown's PC and Xbox One launch dated for August 27, with a PlayStation 4 release to follow in Spring. The game, which has been in Early Access on PC since early 2018 and Game Preview on Xbox since May 2019, is a competitive first-person bounty hunting game that mixes survival horror and competitive PvP. It sees players fight each other whilst hunting down monsters in the swamps of Louisiana.

Since its debut the game has seen a number of major updates and tweaks based on community feedback and the expansion and refinement of its mechanics.

Here's a look at a few of the new Hunters coming alongside the 1.0 update.

“Developing a game alongside such a passionate community has been so rewarding. It has taken us in new directions, and really inspired us to put everything we have into Hunt,” said Lead Hunt Producer Fatih Özbayram. “Now the time has come for the full release, and we couldn’t be more excited. We won’t forget the support this community has given us.”

Publisher Koch Media will be handling the physical release.
