With Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 got announced earlier this year, fans were treated to a surprise announcement that would bring back one of the cult-iest of cult classic PC RPGs for another bite. Due for release next year, today comes word of another Vampire: The Masquerade game in the works, with Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York coming later this year to PC and Nintendo Switch.
Described as a single-player narrative experience, it comes from Polish indie studio Draw Distance (previously known as iFun4All). It will be set in the fifth edition of Vampire: The Masquerade lore, and let players take on the role of various Vampire clans with decisions made leading up to several different endings.
Here's the trailer.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York presents the conflict between two vampiric factions: the traditionalist Camarilla and the fiercely independent Anarchs among the iconic landmarks and night lights of The Big Apple. It's a unique, atmospheric, single-player narrative experience, set in a rich, fully licensed, globally recognized universe of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition.
In terms of look and feel the trailer doesn't really paint a picture of what the game will be - but no doubt a narrative-driven experience set in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade is more than welcome. Hopefully we get footage and more info at E3.
