With the surprise release date reveal of November this year for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding yesterday, comes a new bit of info from the reliable Jason Schreier. In that the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog has been "bumped" to 2020 - with a possible February release.

Interesting to see the use of the word bumped as opposed to delayed, as that usually refers to titles that still need time to finish. It makes sense that Sony would space out what could very will be the final two major first-party releases for the PlayStation 4 - as the PlayStation 5 is due sometime late 2020.

Without a PlayStation showcase at E3 this year from Sony, there's a decent chance the delay, or bump, is true. Because if you had The Last of Us Part II and Death Stranding out late 2019 - that's definitely enough AAA firepower for a presentation.
