Following in the footsteps of what has been one of the biggest film releases of all-time, Avengers: Endgame, Square Enix is set to debut its Avengers game project at E3 this year. The title, which is being developed by Crystal Dynamics has been in the works for quite some time - as the game was first announced in January 2017.

No doubt it will be something quite substantial as Eidos Montreal (Deus Ex, Shadow of the Tomb Raider) is also helping out. The game was expected to get a reveal last year, so it's great to see confirmation that it'll be there at E3 2019.

The announcement came via Twitter.

With Square Enix's E3 Showcase set to take place on June 11 at 11:00am (AEST).

Although we don't have any real detail on what sort of game it will be, it's part of a multi-year multi-title partnership between Square Enix and Marvel.
