Not that I claim to be a scholar of the sport of fast vehicular driving, but I'm well aware of Formula 1, Super-cars, Rally-cross, and even Blue Shell-free Go Karting. Apparently racing big rigs around pristine circuits is also a thing, so much so that there's now a racing game called FIA European Truck Racing Championship to prove it.

And, yeah, it definitely looks weird seeing vehicles not designed for intricate racing do just that.



The clip above features footage from the famous Misano World Circuit, where we get to see five-time European champion Jochen Hahn in action. Names that the press release could just have made up. "Here's a clip from the world famous Finucelli World Circuit where you get to see world champion Chimfrey Hindleshniddle do his thing."

FIA European Truck Racing Championship is right around the corner too, with a PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch release scheduled for sometime in July 2019.
