Where players will get access to the full Xbox Game Pass library in addition to Xbox Live Gold for $15.95 AUD a month. A bundle that many have been waiting for as quite a few of the first-party Game Pass releases have featured online components - i.e. Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, State of Decay 2, and most recently Crackdown 3. The question then becomes, does the new pricing signal a sizable saving?

The answer is sure, but not as much as we'd have liked. Purchased separately a single month of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass will set you back $21.90 AUD - so there's a saving of $5.95 AUD.

Of course, many out there opt for longer periods - three, six, or even twelve months. Which is where you can find a bigger overall discount. The problem here being that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate isn't available yet, and is set to launch "later this year" with only the monthly option announced so far. No doubt the bundle will benefit soon enough from its own discounts and extended options as we've seen with cheap Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass deals.
